Update and Manage Your Catalog
You can update your catalog through a supported syndicator, through Support Center in Brand Center, or directly in Catalog Manager using Catalog Editor if you do not use one of our preferred syndicators.
Updates available through a syndicator
Syndicators are third-party product management platforms that DoorDash uses to obtain product information (such as images and attributes).
You can use a syndicator to add new items, update existing content, or correct product details such as titles, images, and attributes. Syndicators are the recommended way to manage catalog updates, as they can help ensure that all your products' attributes (images, size, etc.) are consistent across all platforms and minimize human error when pushing product updates to DoorDash. Depending on your region, the following syndicators may be supported by DoorDash:
Salsify (US, CA, AU)
Syndigo (US)
1WorldSync (CA)
SKUVantage (AU) - SKUVantage is now owned by Salsify. Please reference Salsify instructions throughout this document.
We encourage you to ensure all items your brand(s) sell are included and up-to-date in your Syndicator, so the item content shows up accurately on the DoorDash Marketplace.
To inform DoorDash of which syndicator you work with and see which syndicators are available in your region, go to the ‘Settings’ > ‘Integrations’ page in Brand Center.
Syndicator content automation:
To benefit most from our syndicator integrations, we recommend sharing your content via Salsify Direct Connection or Syndigo Active Products. These feeds are only accessible by DoorDash and not by any other retailer. Both feeds have more mandatory content values, as DoorDash requests these content values to ensure high-quality SKUs are built into the DoorDash catalog.
If you use Salsify Direct Connection or Syndigo Active Products, DoorDash will pull content from these feeds first, with Salsify Open Catalog or Syndigo Marketplace being secondary if there is missing information.
If you leverage Salsify’s Direct Connection or Syndigo’s Active Products, you may be eligible for our fully automated content pipeline, with your content updates reflected on the DoorDash marketplace within 24 hours.
How to update catalog items through your syndicator
If you use Salsify or Syndigo:
Select your preferred syndicator on the ‘Settings’ > ‘Integrations’ page in Brand Center.
Push new items or item updates from Salsify to either DoorDash Direct Connection (recommended) or Open Catalog. For Syndigo, send updates to Syndigo's Active Products.
DoorDash will automatically pull and implement your content updates within five business days, so no additional steps are required.
If sharing content via Salsify Direct Connection or Syndigo Active Products, you may be eligible for our fully automated content pipeline, with your content updates reflected on the DoorDash marketplace within 24 hours.
In the case your new items or item updates are not reflected properly in your catalog on DoorDash, please submit a ticket via Support Center in Brand Center. See more information here.
If you use 1WorldSync:
Push new products through 1WorldSync. Once done, please submit a Support Center ticket in Brand Center indicating that you have pushed new items or have made content updates. Include a list of the UPCs/GTINs impacted along with the name of the syndicator you use.
Updates to existing items can be done through a Support Center ticket in Brand Center.
Learn more about submitting a Support Center ticket here.
How syndicator users can request changes through Brand Center
Syndicator users are able to request changes to their catalog if a product has inaccurate information, doesn’t belong to your brand, is discontinued, or is a duplicate. In order to do this, navigate to Catalog Manager and select the product or products. Above the product names and below the search bar, click ‘Request a Change’ and choose the problem that applies to you. When submitting a Support Center ticket, follow instructions and provide as much detail as possible about the changes you’re requesting.

Updates available through Catalog Editor
Catalog Editor is a self-serve tool in Catalog Manager that lets eligible advertisers update select product content directly, without going through a syndicator.
Catalog Editor is only available to advertisers who do not use one of our preferred syndicators. If your account uses a syndicator, continue submitting updates through that syndicator. Switching to Catalog Editor means your syndicator-pushed content will no longer propagate to DoorDash.
What you can update: Photos, description, size, and category
How to update: Select a product in Catalog Manager and click the edit icon. Changes go live within 24 hours. For other updates outside of the above options, click ‘Get Support’ to contact our support team. You can also request to add new products by clicking ‘Add Product’ in the upper right corner of Catalog Manager.
How to switch to Catalog Editor: Go to Settings > Integrations, and under Product syndicator select “Flat File / I don’t use a syndicator.”
How to upload innovation items
An innovation item is a new product that hasn't yet launched in stores or on the DoorDash marketplace, but is being prepared for future release.
In practice, this means it's a new SKU (e.g., new flavor, size, or product line). It may already exist in your catalog system (Salsify, Syndigo, etc.), but it shouldn't be visible to customers yet.
If you use Salsify Direct Connection, enter the future launch date in the Launch Date field to prevent the item from going live early.
If you use a different catalog setup, go to the Catalog Manager and select Add product in the upper right corner. Download and complete the template, including the product’s planned launch date, then upload it with your request.

Discontinued items
Discontinued items may exist in your catalog so that we can attribute historical sales for the product in your business and campaign reporting. We recommend keeping discontinued items in your catalog.
If the product is truly discontinued, then no merchants will be selling that product and the product will not show up on DoorDash for purchase.
If you are seeing a discontinued product being sold on DoorDash or are seeing recent sales attributed to a discontinued product, that indicates that a merchant is telling DoorDash that they are still selling and have inventory for this product.
If you still wish to remove discontinued products, get help within Brand Center.
After uploading products
After DoorDash receives your updates:
DoorDash Review: DoorDash reviews all items to confirm they are in compliance with our guidelines. If needed, some content changes — such as updating the item name structure or removing select special characters — may be implemented. Note: We don't alter product images.
Connection to Retailer Catalogs: All new items added to the DoorDash catalog are connected to/linked with retailer catalogs. This allows the content you’ve provided to be visible to customers at all linked retailers. If we can't find the product in a single retailer catalog, your items will not be eligible for ads and promos. Although we encourage retailers to share their full inventory with us, some partners may only share a subset.
Eligible for Ads and Promos: Once the new item is properly ingested to your DoorDash catalog, assigned to the correct brand, and linked to corresponding items at 1+ retailers, it's ready for the DoorDash Marketplace and eligible for ads and promos.
To check if your content updates have been applied, go to your Catalog Manager and search for the product(s) you want to audit. Content updates from a syndicator or flat file will be made within 5 business days after DoorDash has been notified.
