Consumer Friends and Family Referral Program : Frequently Asked Questions
I didn’t receive my referral credits, and/or my friend did not receive a referral offer. Where are they?
To qualify for an offer related to a referral, the person you referred must:
Be a new customer who has never previously created a DoorDash account as determined by DoorDash;
Use your unique referral link to sign up;
Place an order with the required minimum subtotal amount shown on your referral signup page; and
Meet any other requirements specified in the Consumer Referral Program Terms and Conditions.
Once the person you referred has placed a qualifying order, you’ll receive a confirmation email, and your credits will be automatically applied to your next order. Credits can take up to 24 hours to reflect on your account.
The amount of referral credits I can receive, or the amount of the referral offer that my friends can receive, has changed. Why?
The amount of referral credit you receive for a successful referral will be reflected in your DoorDash account, in the area where you can access your unique referral link. This amount may change over time. Similarly, the amount of the referral offer your friends receive for a successful referral will be reflected at your referral link, and this amount may also change over time.
Is there a limit to the number of people I can refer?
Yes. You will only receive credits for the following number of successful referrals:
10 successful referrals if you are located in the United States or Canada
25 successful referrals if you are located in Australia or New Zealand
Are there restrictions on how and where I can share my referral link?
Your referral link should only be shared with people you know personally. Posting it on websites accessible to the general public (including Google, Amazon, eBay,Craigslist, coupon sites, and others), buying paid ads, spamming people you don’t know, or otherwise misrepresenting the offer or your relationship with DoorDash may make you ineligible to receive referral credits. DoorDash has sole discretion in determining whether you receive credits for a referral and may revoke any credits you have already received if you are not in compliance with the Consumer Referral Program Terms and Conditions.
